Laos
We head into Laos tomorrow. We've been told there are no ATM's in the entire country. No telling what internet access will look like. I apologize if it takes me a week or two to get another blog up.
In the mean time, enjoy this picture. It's my last haircut. The barber wanted an outragous 3 dollars for a cut. Carmen said she could do it herself, so we bought a pair of scissors. I sat on the toilet and Carmen sprayed me with the bidet as she trimmed. Carm had a vested interest in my hair: the worse I looked, the fewer girls I would attract.
The hair cut came out surprisingly well. If that med school thing doesn't work out, Carm could have a new calling.

In response to jiminy...james guthrie...yes, you may be on to something. While I can't be sure of Malay's use of the showers at Vandy, I have heard some bizarre stories about other Asian groups coming to America. I have heard of people complaining of finding footprints on the toilet seats of airplanes heading from Asia to the U.S. Go figure.
